I'm an Australian/ Canadian who has spent 25 years in Canada followed by 3 years back in Australia, in the Blue Mountains, a World Heritage Site about 100km west of Sydney.
In Canada I developed a large garden of heritage roses, wrote a book on roses and another on climbing plants. I also wrote the text for "Gardens of Vancouver", a coffee-table book featuring 26 private gardens.
I have contributed numerous articles to gardening magazines in the Pacific Northwest, and hope to continue to do so.
When I began this blog, its title was Christine's Ozblog and its focus was Australian gardens and plants. It rapidly expanded to include Australian idiosyncrasies, bushwalks we took, towns we visited, and our trips overseas.
Now we are back in Canada, the focus has become our new house and garden and the name has changed to Grand Folly
This blog is primarily for my family, and my friends, but comments are welcome from anyone who happens upon it.
